Remembrance Day 2020

Voices In Harmony had 2 planned Remembrance events in 2020, a concert with The Staffordshire Band at Dudley Town Hall and the now annual Remembrance Festival with Cradley Heath Salvation Army at their Citadel. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus pandemic both events were cancelled.

Sue Morgan, Voices In Harmony secretary and a staunch British Legion supporter, was determined that Remembrance Day should be commemorated in 2020.

So she contacted her neighbours suggesting they stand outside their homes for 11AM on 11 November in an act of remembrance.

To add some ceremony to the event Stephen Bradley, Voices In Harmony musical director, played the Last Post and David Stacey, a tenor with Voices In Harmony and a veteran who served in the Falklands conflict gave a reading.

Vacancies

We are currently seeking  Tenors and  Basses.

We are a non-auditioning choir. We would like to recruit men of a reasonable standard who ideally may have previous choral experience, who are music readers or have a modicum of musical ability.
