Christmas Concert Raises Over £1000 For Charity

Our Christmas concert which took place on 11 December 2021 at Holy Trinity Church, Old Hill raised £1100 for charity through ticket sales and collection buckets. Two charities, Alzheimer’s Society and Holy Trinity Food Bank (part of the Black Country Food Bank) are the beneficiaries, each receiving the sum of £550.

Representatives from the two charities were invited to our rehearsal on 17 January to receive their donations.

Unfortunately the representative from Alzheimer’s Society had to cancel her visit at short notice, however she was able to attend our next rehearsal on 7 February.

Rehearsals Resume After Covid Restrictions Eased

After sixteen months of not being able to meet for rehearsals and concerts due to Covid restrictions the choir will meet again on the 2nd August to resume rehearsals.

If there is anyone out there who may be interested in joining us then please do get in touch with our Musical Director Stephen Bradley.

Remembrance Day 2020

Voices In Harmony had 2 planned Remembrance events in 2020, a concert with The Staffordshire Band at Dudley Town Hall and the now annual Remembrance Festival with Cradley Heath Salvation Army at their Citadel. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus pandemic both events were cancelled.

Sue Morgan, Voices In Harmony secretary and a staunch British Legion supporter, was determined that Remembrance Day should be commemorated in 2020.

We are currently seeking  Tenors and  Basses.
